Fast food giant turns corporate HQ into free drive-thru for truckers
If you’re a trucker with a taco craving, you may just be in luck as one of the nation’s largest fast food chains turns their California corporate headquarters into a free drive-thru.
Taco Bell recently announced their “Truck-Thru at HQ” events to be held at corporate headquarters in Irvine, California from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 24 and May 1. The company also held an April 17 Truck-Thru event.
During the event, Taco Bell will turn their HQ driveway into a makeshift drive-thru for those in the workforce who drive large essential service vehicles — including semi trucks, fire trucks, ambulances, and police vehicles.
The company notes that many of these vehicles won’t fit in a standard drive-thru.
At the drive-thru, truckers will be able to pickup a free Cravings Box filled with a Crunchwrap Supreme, Bean Burrito, Cinnamon Twists, and a Baja Blast.
The event is taking place at 1 Glen Bell Way, Irvine CA 92618. Drivers who want to take part are asked to Glen Bell Way and follow signage.
